To Our Valued Clients and Partners:
On 3/16/20 PriceMDs’ team was informed that the government of the Cayman Islands is implementing strict measures in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19.
Owen Roberts International Airport, serving Grand Cayman, will be closed to incoming flights starting March 18th, 2020 and will shut down completely on March 22nd. Owen Roberts International Airport is scheduled to reopen on April 12th, 2020.
PriceMDs continues to closely track this situation and will share any changes to this timeline as they become available. Any PriceMDs’ patients with travel booked for this time period will be rescheduled by our nurse team for a future date.
PriceMDs’ clinical team is contacting program participants to notify them of the latest travel news from the Cayman Islands. PriceMDs nurses will instruct patients who may need a refill prior to travel to contact their US-based physician for prescriptions and their PBMs for drug fills to ensure no lapses in treatment.
PriceMDs nurses will maintain contact with patients and provide Cayman Island Government travel updates as they become available.
There is no higher priority to the entire PriceMDs’ family than the safety of our patients and the trust of our clients.
We are closely monitoring communications from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), government agencies (US and Cayman), along with our internal teams to stay on top of this evolving situation.
